Wyndham Garden Otsego-Minneapolis

Pros: - We stayed in a family suite - I LOVED the layout - separate kids bedroom from the parents room + pull out couch in the living area. Appreciated the mini fridge and the strong AC (I like to sleep in the cold). -The price was very reasonable for such a large room with water park passes - the water park (the reason we came) was great! It was huge and clean. I wish the picnic tables were round tables like the other areas - the picnic tables are so uncomfortable - not a huge deal though. - the food at the breakfast buffet and by the pool was pretty good. Cons: - the room was pretty dirty (hairs on the walls in the bathroom, chocolate (I hope?) on the chair in the living room and the toilet paper - while the end was folded - wasn’t a new roll. - the shower took FOREVER to warm up which

We generally don't pay too much attention with reviews but wish we would have read a little more as we probably would not have gone. Location is really easy to get to. Parking was good. Check in and out was quick and hassle free. Our families 6 rooms. They were great and grouped us together. Nice size rooms. BUT... Rooms now have a tile floor. We were on the 1st floor and the family above us sounded like a herd of elephants at 6:30 in the morning. So no sleeping in there. Water park does not allow outside food and beverages in, which I understand. Was told by the attendant that I could bring in an empty water bottle and fill at the bar, which I did (more on that in a minute) But then was harassed by other attendants that I could not have my water yeti after all (even though was told by

The hotel is advertised as being renovated in 2024, but appears much more worn than I would expect. We ended up in a king suite with bunk beds. There were stains all over the rug and couch. We found garbage in the bottom bunk near the wall. The ceilings and walls were dirty and beat up. We found a cupcake in our closet. Many tables were sticky/dirty. Not sure what was wrong with the water but took nearly 10 minutes to get however from the sink and shower. ||The water park is not nearly as big as it appears online. There is minimal seating. Hot tub was not hot. The entire park was dated and worn, with rusty stairs, peeling pant, etc. My kids were all bored within a few hours so we checked out the arcade. Each “game” is $1. We ended up going to space aliens which was much more fun and they

Positive: Large room. Staff was friendly. Waterpark option. Negative: Blinds in the room did not work. Shower sprayed every direction. Floor was a little dirty. Air conditioner was unplugged and did not notice until it was 74 in our room.

Great place for a snowmobiling weekend with the kiddos! The staff are amazing! Especially Sandy! We had a great time at the water park, just wish it was open earlier on Friday while we had our free day! Rooms were decent! The windows are drafty so it was tricky keeping the temp consistent overnight. Will definitely be back
