Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend This hotel was simply a place to sleep, and unfortunately not much more than that. The bathroom faucet fell off during our stay, and the mini fridge did not work at all. It appeared that maintenance had been done with patch jobs instead of proper quality repairs. The pool was dirty. There was green buildup on the walls, and we even saw a worm floating in the water. That alone made it unusable for us. The windows were extremely dirty, making it hard to enjoy the partial ocean view we paid for. At night, bright exterior lighting shined directly into the room, making it difficult to relax. Positive: The support from the maid service was good. The support from your front desk was very standoffish. There was it was just a really dirty place. I have a lot of pictures have some questions concerns and would like to speak to somebody further. Negative: The condition of the hotel, the just not clean the outside dirty steps are dirty no chair chairs for people to really sit at the pool side. You have about 10 broken down dirty for all the guest in that chair chairs

Starting with the positive. The hotel location and the balcony beach view was fantastic. The free parking during off season was a bonus. The Anchor outside bar food was very nice (shrimp and grits.) ||Positive and negative. The hot tub was a nice temperature but no "bubbling" and the switch that controls that appears to be missing or broken off. We passed on the hot tub one day when we noticed a toddler in a "pull-up" in the hot tub.||Negatives - there were plenty. |We did online check-in in hopes to make things faster but still had to show ID and credit card to get checked in. They closed the hot tub and pool because of “bad weather”. Our first day here the coldest it got was 25 and that was only a few hours. On our 2nd day here it was 35 in the morning and quickly warmed to a high of 56 and at 9pm it was still 52 with a low of 40 overnight. They used the lame excuse it was for safety in case the pipes freeze. It would have to be 32 for 10+ hours for pipes to freeze. Such a lame excuse. What genius made that decision? You pay a resort fee and don’t even get to use them. Pathetic. The hotel itself could use a face lift. Some areas are updated and others not so much. Some of the work is just poor craftsmanship. Extremely happy with our stay. Highly recommend for it's location on the beach with beachside pool. It must be heated bc there were people in it in mid December albeit with the outside temp between 70-80 degrees in the morning then 80s afternoon. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. My better half didn't like a so called "upgraded" barn door on the bathroom. No lock and of course you can hear through the large gaps, probably smell too 😄 The grill and bar was good and convenient for dining with a great view of the beach. No free breakfast but our room rate was good so worth it to pay for a made to order meal. There's also an outdoor patio bar next to the pool. This place has it all. It must be really happening during peak season. It's our new favorite location but will likely sta
