Wright Motel

I checked into The Wright Motel and went to inspect the room for bedbugs the second I walked in, but before I could even get that far, I tried to turn on the lamp and found a ROACH literally inside of it—yes, inside the lamp. As I was trying to twist it on, the thing crawled out like it owned the place, and I’m pretty sure I touched it, which is absolutely disgusting. And the worst part? I didn’t even need to touch the lamp at all, because it turns out it was a touch-to-power lamp and all I had to do was tap the base. So I got a full-on roach jump scare for no reason. Pretty disappointing and honestly gross. The only positive thing I can say is that at least they don’t have bedbugs, but finding a roach in the lamp definitely killed any comfort I had about staying there.

We were driving back from Buffalo and got tired. All the better known hotel chains were booked. Beds were comfortable but the bathroom was kind of dirty with spider webs on the walls. It was hard to tell whether parts of the bathroom were dirty or just stained. The water was just barely warm enough to take a shower. The shower curtain had seen better days, or probably better years. It was kind of gross. There were two towels but only one wash cloth. There was only one tiny bar of soap that you had to use for the shower and the sink. Couldn't find an ice machine or a soda machine. The owner seemed very nice but the place wasn't great nonetheless. The room had a faint smell of enclosure, not so bad. I got used to it after a few minutes but my wife didn't.

Owner was very nice, even picked me up. Rooms look like an old crime scene. Mold, filthy carpet, old unclean furniture. Nothing to get comfortable in. I found one bed bug on the railing that supports the box spring. I was gone in less than 3 hours.

It's a older hotel but it is clean and well-kept the outside is clean the rooms are clean showers are clean bathrooms are clean older TVs with a cable box like a flashback that staff very nice the price was really good my room had a microwave in it also I would definitely stay there again. I don't always say that

This is not a chain hotel. It is privately owned. Nice area, neat and clean. VERY QUIET AND PEACEFUL!! DRUG ADDICTED OR LOUD AND RUDE PEOPLE!! DO NOT COME HERE!!. NY STATE POLICE ARE 5 MINUTES AWAY!! I loved it, and the price was very reasonable. Thx again😘
