We loved the experience of staying there and the guys who ran the operation were really nice. The clown museum was quite interesting. I think they could’ve done so much more with the rooms. We were not expecting a resort hotel experience obviously, but I think more clown elements could have been added to add to the tackiness. The rooms are not very clean, as an FYI. But it was worth staying there one night.

There's not a bad word I can say about this motel and the experience we had here on Halloween. It was by far the coolest Halloween of mine and my wife's lives and its because we spent it here and in the Fear Unlimited room. The whole place was spooky and creepy but our room was both of those times 10 and we absolutely loved it! The owner amd workers all were very friendly and the gift shop is awesome! We will definitely be coming back for a vacation and staying much longer than one night!

I have lived at the Clown Motel for quite some time now. I don’t remember when I checked in. I don’t think anyone does. The clowns keep track of that for us. Most guests only stay a night, but I enjoy watching them arrive. They step into the lobby, see the hundreds of painted faces staring at them and always do the same thing: freeze. Some laugh nervously, some back away slowly, and some swear the clowns blinked. They usually leave in the morning. I don’t. The rooms are cosy if you don’t mind the soft squeaking of rubber noses at 3am. The clowns like to rearrange themselves after dark. Sometimes they sit closer to the bed. Sometimes they wait by the window. I’ve grown used to their little habits. The cemetery next door is wonderfully peaceful. Many guests visit it in daylight. I prefer

We travelled all the way from the UK to stay at this so-called iconic Clown Motel and were utterly disgusted. The Excorcist room was filthy:||||Carpets hadn’t been vacuumed.||||An old coffee pod was still sitting in the machine.||||Beds were covered in stains and clearly hadn’t been washed—the pillows still smelled of someone else’s sweat.||||Thick dust everywhere, and the fridge/freezer was revolting.||||For almost $100 a night, this is unacceptable. We were so appalled we dropped the key in the box after just one hour without informing the management and drove three hours back to Las Vegas.||||To make matters worse, the no-refund policy seems designed to trap guests. We couldn’t face arguing only to get a predictable “no refunds” response.||||I will also be reporting this property to the

I usually stay at the cheapest hotel I can find and yet deapite that this was one of the grossest hotels I've spent the night in. My friend warned me but I still wanted to go so I could say I've spent a night there. The room we stayed in LOOKED nice so long as you ignored the piece of chewed gum on the wall that I guess was a feature. The sink smelled like gunk, definitely needs a good cleaning. The shower had a lot of someone else's hair. So did the bedding and pillows. We found some dog hair and kibble on the floor, plus general dirt, so I'm skeptical that the floors were vacuumed or anything prior to our stay (no we didn't bring dogs). Nothing spooky happened during our stay (same happened for my friend who stayed 2 nights a few years ago). I came expecting to be creeped out, not grosse
