WoodSpring Suites Savannah West - Ellabell Metaplant

We stayed in this hotel last night. We arrived after midnight and were so ready to crash. I had called the online number to try to see if there was any availability because it was showing online that a room with 2 Queen beds were available. When I called the lady I spoke with told me they didn’t have any availability at that location but she could check other locations. We were right at the hotel and decided to stop in and check anyway to see if she was mistaking. I went in and was promptly greeted by Maleak (spelling) and he was great! I asked about a room and he said they did in fact have availability. He was very friendly and professional. The room was great! It was very clean and the beds slept well! This is a relatively new hotel, so the accommodations were in good condition and the room was spacious and clean, but don't expect much in amenities. The room included a full size refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, couch, laundry basket, lots of open cubbies for storage and a desk with two chairs. For amenities, you received 2 towels, 2 washcloths, 1 bath mat (NO hand towels), small bar soap, 1 small shampoo (NO conditioner). What the room doesn't have: hand towels, conditioner, kleenex, lotion, coffee pot, hair dryer, or luggage rack. There is a sign in the room that says you can PURCHASE: a change of linens, cookware pack, coffee pot, or dishware pack. I think the hotel is meant more for long term rentals that bring their own stuff, than overnight guests.

The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is the location. It's only minutes from my job. I got off work and got to the room, room looked nice, turn the bathroom light on, and I know you're lying!!!! A roach in the shower. The next morning I go to take another shower before work and NO HOT WATER!!! I'd drive a few more miles to get better service and cleaner place to stay. I left my number several times to explain my concerns, no call back, just excuses of who can take the time to listen to my concerns.

Our stay from the very start was a nightmare. I had called days prior to our arrival to ensure we would have a roll in shower due to my spouse being a quadriplegic and they verified that we would be in one. We arrived around 10pm and when I went to check the room it was NOT a roll in shower. I went back to the front desk and she had to go look at a bunch of rooms to find one for us. She finally did, however it was dirty and she said she would have to clean it for us first. So we had to wait for over an hour before finally getting into a room. We get to that room and get settled in only to did that the tv does not work. We called the front desk and she said no one could look at it that night since it was so late and no one was there and she would leave a note for someone to look at i
