Woodland Parkview Motel

This was the best motel I've ever stayed at. They are remodeled and I think they look so mid century mod. There is plenty of light in the room and the layout is great. I was very impressed with the large TV on a good mount so it can face the bed or couch. You do need to live out of your suitcase as there is no dresser, which is the only reason I didn't do 5 stars. However there is an area for hanging clothes with nice wooden hangers. The outside area looked nice but there were no cushions in the exterior furniture. I am guessing they removed them for the cold snap, but it would have been nice to be out there. Edit: I have stayed here again and the outside area is set up with cushions. It was a nice space to relax outside after dark. I now see that different rooms are appointed different

the reviews scared me, but I heard this place had a makeover with new owners. Total charm!! wholesome retro vibe and newly remodeled rooms. You can tell they did a complete refresh. Comfy beds, clean rooms and friendly, professional owners. Booking and check in was a breeze with great communication. Close to the state park that has boat rentals and walking trails and a cool bird exhibit and museum.

The space is comfortable, spacious, clean, all the amenities top notch. The courtyard is special with a gas fireplace and comfortable seating. It is a safe environment with space for kiddos to be outside with a creative wall they can color with chalk, location close to David Crockett state park, minutes to town in a quiet area. The newly totally renovated motel is a must if you find yourself in the area. The newest room (family oriented) has bunk beds in queen size plus a queen size bed. What a great idea for the larger family travelers. In my opinion...a true gem of a find! The owners are welcoming, attentive, helpful and just a delight. I WILL RETURN AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE. They have done such a GREAT JOB

We stayed in November 2025, and it was absolutely wonderful. This motel is a true hidden gem. The rooms are beautifully redesigned, with everything from the high-quality mattresses and linens to thoughtful touches like local coffee and teas clearly chosen with care. The attention to detail is exceptional. Each room has its own theme, styled so thoughtfully that it feels like stepping into a cozy, curated little retreat. The location is fantastic (just minutes from David Crockett State Park) and the hospitality really shines. The owner even left us a s’mores kit for the fire pit, which was such a warm, memorable touch. They also regularly host coffee and food trucks on site, adding to the welcoming, community feel. Myself and a cousin had to return home from a road trip last second and found this wonderful motel to get some much needed sleep at. The place was adorable, comfortable, quiet, and just what we needed! We even received a kind text making sure we had arrived safely. We wish we had more time there but hope to stay again in the future!
