Woodbound Inn

Room has a very warm feeling. The room was very clean. Hot water is always ready to be used. Very nice quaint. A shout for Max. He was able to accommodate our stay. Thank you Max!!

We just celebrated our wedding here. Max was amazing through the whole planning process. He’s a very busy man but he was great at getting back with emails just be patient; there is only one of him. He made sure everything was perfect and was around the day before the wedding and the day of. I didn’t stress about a thing! The grounds are so well kept. The inn is amazing. If you’re looking for a Marriott hotel experience with up to date features this is not the place. This place is historic and so homey. We stayed in the Edgewood building and our room was huge! It was perfect for the bridal party to get together to get hair and makeup done. Great place with a back woods experience. No elevator made it difficult for us old timers. It was nice having a restaurant and bar in the same venue.

Abysmal. Did not see a single hotel staff person - not even at the front desk - the entire time I was there. Room was tiny, dingy and unadorned. But it was the bed that really did us in. It was more trampoline than mattress, and it was a full not a queen. We quite literally did not sleep and left the next day even though we booked two nights. Outrageous to charge people $250 a night.

Paid for 2 nights, then added a 3rd I thought I would need. Then 10 days before my stay I only needed 2 nights. They would not refund the 3rd night. I will never stay or recommend them again.
