Wolf River Retreat Vacation Rental

We decided to rent a cabin for a family vacation (7 adults & 2 kids). But, we wanted to be near one of the wonderful lakes in Kentucky or Tennessee. Boy...does Wolf River Retreat fit the bill. This property is located approximately 10 miles or so from Dale Hollow Lake. Which is an easy drive and Sunset Marine & Resort is a great place to rent your summer toys! But, if you don't even want to leave this property you'll be happy with the amenities available. Less than what 50' is a perfect private swimming hole. The water is a clean and cool...perfect for the hot summer days. You can fish or grab a float and enjoy a little float down the river. This was the most beautiful lake (and within 3 HRS) I’ve ever had the pleasure of having as my vacation backyard for a few days. Highly recommend for families. Private ‘beach’ with a wonderful creek, water is so clear it looks tropical! Check it out. Stay there. You won’t regret it.

Owners were accommodating and easy to communicate with! The property is very clean and comfortable, and provides for a range of interests and needs. We had a family ranging from grandparents to school-aged children, all of which enjoyed the available amenities (rafts, kayaks, hot tub, you name it!). An easy commute to the lake but you really don’t need to leave the property!

This is very nice cabin in excellent condition in beautiful setting! We dealt directly with the owner very nice couple. The cleanest and coolest accommodation. 5 acres and no traffic. A little peace of heaven. YOU will love it!

You can not go wrong with this place!! If you’re wanting to just sit back and listen to the creek or take a short drive to the lake, this is the perfect spot!! The cabin was extremely clean and very well equipped. The owner is super responsive with any questions and suggestions. This place won’t disappoint!
