Wolf Creek Campground | Lake Sakakawea

Beautiful primitive campground, good boat ramp, vault toilets.

Most sites were over grown. They had fire pits. Which it's awesome they have them, but most of them were half full or worse. Seems to be very under managed. Hope they can get more people to work there and/or help out to make it a better experience for those visiting. They did have lots of pit toilets spread throughout the campground which was nice. This was mearly my experience when I was there. Would still come back. Just hope things are better maintained in the future. Not trying to sound like a whiner.

Although it's a really nice campground they do not have garbage cans in the bathroom yet have signs not to through trash down? Where are we supposed to put baby wipes, feminine products, catheters? Kinda inconsiderate. We have also had issues with double bookings and our bookings not staying. I also wish they'd enforce quiet hours. Stupid teenagers partying until the early morning

Great place to experience family fun for all ages. They have clean camping grounds with great fishing, clear waters, and lots of sun for beautiful sunsets.

Lovely, quiet campground. Not many trails to hike or ride bikes. Most spots are close to the shore. Most are fairly clise together but there are a few that are pretty private. Pretty easy water access. Has a fish cleaning station also.
