Stopped for lunch. Enjoyed the time and outdoors. Great break from the heat.
This was a really good place to be. A small campground with tables and bathrooms. Spigots are everywhere but not a drop. There is not water. A fellow camper that has been here multiple times said that water availability is spotty. Again, no water. We were here with family and everyone loved that it was remote and the highway traffic was quiet by the time we went to bed, 10:30pm. A wonderful spot just off the highway.
Last motorcycle ride this year up to this road. I love it.
Clean,beautiful trees and foliage this fall. Great for atvs. The roads are dirt and rock so be prepared as well as sheep hearders are there in fall with sheep. Federal Government still allows fires but i suggest getting a duraflame type so there are no sparks.
Many of the trees have died off, not much shade. 2nd group site is nice. Lots of atv / bike trails. Up high, nice and cool. NO WATER.
