We went with a group of 10 and we were very disappointed. Arrived a half hour early to ensure getting the full hour and 15 minutes. This was for nothing due to the staff not showing up to take tickets. The staff in the ticket booth assured us extra time would be added to the end to make up for what was missed. This did not happen at all, and when asking the staff on the hill about the extension of time, I was told they would contact their manager for which she never did.|Having already missed out on 20 minutes and once the plunge “opened” we went 3 times and some 4 due to the wait between each group. My best advice is take the drive and go to massanutten resort. We have been there many times in the past with absolutely no issues. We not be returning to Wintergreen.||As for the tubing area

is an absolutely amazing place to relax and enjoy nature. The mountain views are breathtaking, the air is fresh, and everything feels peaceful and well-maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole resort feels very organized and welcoming. Whether you come for skiing, hiking, or just to relax, this place is perfect. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again!

If you are planning to come to Wintergreen on a holiday weekend, think again. The lifts were extremely overcrowded and it took 40 minutes to get on a lift. It was not worth the money. Thank goodness we got our rental equipment the evening before because the lines to rent equipment was insane. The staff at the rental facility was great- they worked hard to move quickly but rentals aren’t quick. It was my nieces first time boarding and the staff was stressed and yelling at her to go faster and move- it made it very unfun for her. She did private lessons (which we loved!) but a lift is a different learning experience. The check in staff is incredible. Our condo was beautiful. It’s worth returning to WG but trying a different, less crowded weekend.

Great location for people to learn how to ski & Snowboard. Always watch the weather before planning a trip this affects the slopes the most plan a trip between 20°- 45° after that ur pushing it & it might be straight slush . The months of December and January are the best in my personal experience and youll have the best time. Went the last week of February into March before closing the slopes for the year & it was like riding on water feet were soaked & just a miserable time 60° OUTSIDE i was wearing my board shorts snowboarding like I said riding on water more like surfing.

Went on a Monday and it was a perfect skiing day. Slopes were not crowded and got in plenty of runs. Both my kids enjoyed the skiwee school. Only complaint I had for the day was the price of food.
