Winsome Inn

When checking in we were assigned a room next to another customer. The only 2 cars in the lot… not sure why we couldn’t have been separated by a room. Unfortunately we could hear every word from the other room. When we asked about separation at the desk the response was meh! |We’ve stayed here a couple of years ago and the hospitality was great! Unfortunately it appears the service has changed.|Also, no cable tv-just apps and no coffee maker for am or breakfast offered. |For the price it’s not a place we would choose to stay agin. It’s unfortunate. This hotel could be a gold mine if they chose to use customer satisfaction as a goal point.

Rooms have been updated and are very clean. Lots of hot water for showers and nice bar soap. Price includes a simple breakfast.I would have given 5-stars if there were screens on the windows. We like cold fresh air at night, and the a/c fan is loud.

I was unfortunately stuck in St Stephan as my husband was very ill and was in hospital the care I received was over the top by the staff they are all very caring individuals the room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was great. The room had a fridge and microwave therefore I didn’t have to eat out every day which saved me money the location is great as it is near a grocery store and close by is giant tiger a dollar store pharmacy and Canadian tire. I would recommend the hotel 100 percent Regards Colette

When I researched online for accessible accommodations for Saint Stephen, NB, Winsome Inn was the first to come up. The price was good so I booked on good faith that it was accessible as stated on the Website. I was wrong. As it happened, I had my mobile ramp with me which was a good thing. If not, I wouldn't get into the room. Once we got in the room I honestly couldn't get my motorized wheelchair around. The bathroom was a total disappointment. I had no access to the washroom. I couldn't even get my wheelchair through the doorway. A complaint was put in, they got us to look at other rooms and nothing was accessible. This is 2025, all public accommodations should be accessible, at least a couple rooms. If they stated on the website, accessible but with limitations I would have

Half way between home and heaven! A very stereotypical motel, clean enough, thin walls, comically horrible coffee at 'petit dejeunne'. But it's location at the US/Canada border is so convenient for us, we come back.
