This is an amazing hotel, and even though I have never been to the town, I was friends with everyone at the end. Super close to the bar with great food, and the rooms were very classy. I believe I was the only one staying at the hotel at the time, but the owner went ahead and opened the games downstairs for me and my family. I would heavily recommend staying here
The food was great, the front desk service was sub-par. Asked at 4:30pm if bowling alley was open, front desk guy said “no I’m going home”. But then they opened the bowling alley up for the town locals at 9:40pm to bowl till almost midnight while the rest of the hotel is trying to go to sleep. Can hear the bowling ball slam into the pins each time from our room as we’re trying to sleep. Extremely inconsiderate and no regard for people spending good money to stay here. Rooms are dull and poorly lit and dirty.
Wasn’t sure what to expect when my sister suggested coming here. But what a fun little find. Everyone we talked with was friendly and welcoming. The manager of the hotel was a lot of fun and we certainly enjoyed visiting with him. Rooms were very nice and clean. Wish the steakhouse and bowling ally would have been open. Maybe next time!
In a town with a census of 171, this is an amazing find. A new hotel with large rooms, individual themes, a new two lane bowling alley, first class pool table, and a restaurant where I had the largest and best chicken fried steak ever. How is all of this in the center of Montana? Through the largess a man who grew up there and not forgotten his roots. Including not only new buildings in town, but one of the best equipped high schools in the state. I also recommend going across the street to the Winifred Tavern for a beer, and lots of local feel. It's also a good place for a unbelievably inexpensive and good breakfast.
Staff made us feel right at home. Welcomed with open arms, check in was a breeze, bowling was great and fun for the family! Rooms had everything we needed during our stay! Will definitely book again in the future
