Wingate by Wyndham Jonesboro/Hodge

Positive: Location Negative: My HONEST review. Room stunk like a dead rat. Had to leave the bathroom fan just to try to help with the smell. Bed VERY uncomfortable, pillow resembled hard rock. Food not the best. Not sure who would an HONEST good review, unless an employee or paid.

Stayed 9-30-25 in rm 219. The hotel itself and my room didn’t have the stink reviews said it did. And I check the room before purchase. The room was better than expected. Spacious. Clean. No bugs. Mattress was firm. Pillows were large and nice. WiFi was alright. $108+ tax as a diamond member is a little much but for having limited options, that’s where they get away w it. Next to Walmart. It was a good stay. Being next to the stairs, it can get loud. The sink needs be snaked (hairs all around)

I am a Wyndham rewards member so therefore I stay at a lot of Wyndham hotels for my work and I was very surprised at the condition of the rooms at this hotel. The first room they put me in the toilet was dirty and I don’t know what that was underneath the sink in the bathroom. So went downstairs to get another room. They gave me another room. No problem. Went to that room and that toilet was dirty. And several other things were dirty, the shower was not clean. There was mold. There was soap scum on the glass doors and the mirror was not clean. There was a horrible patchwork on the wall. The bathroom was kinda in sad shape. Then I noticed there’s two coffee cups, but no coffee pot. And no ice bucket. So I asked the lady at the front desk about the coffee pot and ice bucket if they had them.

This place has gone down the drain. So much so, it would be very easy for another hotel to open up and do VERY well as options are limited in this town. Either they’re grossly understaffed or they don’t care. The place is dirty and I have pictures to prove it.

This hotel is a dump. The TVs don't work properly, there are spiders everywhere, the internet is terrible, the water doesn't drain when you shower, and if you have a problem, they just say it's not their problem. It's awful, I don't recommend it.
