Wilton River Suites Hotel

I spent two nights at this upscale resort, as an escape from 'real life'. The building is in a very quiet, Middle River waterfront location, with residential neighbors and gorgeous river and pool views from the suite. |I stayed on the 3rd floor, and my only complaint was I could hear the folks walking above me (the flooring is either tile or wood, I can't remember). So, next time I believe I'd want to reserve a top floor room. I didn't take advantage of the facility's many amenities, including the pool, hot tub, work out room, etc. Parking and check-in were both easy. |I met up with Lincoln, who I met a couple years ago, when he was managing another upscale resort in Ft. If I could give 6 or even 10 stars, I would! These gentlemen define hospitality. My wife and I have been here before and we shall happily return. Everything at your fingertips. The rooms are perfectly appointed, with everything from USB chargers where you need them to snacks upon entry to plenty of beach/pool towels. And the building amenities are absolutely 100! The whole place encourages a relaxed, chill and very friendly vibe. Happy hour on weekends, where you can meet and greet other guests. Ken is a phenomenal GM. He anticipated our every need. Wilton River Suites exceeded our expectations in every way. From the very start, the customer service was outstanding—Ken was incredibly responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful, with quick replies that made everything seamless and stress-free. They were also very accommodating with a late arrival and a late check-out, which provided real peace of mind and made the stay feel flexible and guest-focused. Upon arrival, the welcome basket with treats was such a thoughtful and genuinely lovely touch—it immediately made us feel welcomed. Had such a great stay. Absolutely immaculate property, excellent amenities, quiet and peaceful outdoor area and pool, respectful and friendly fellow guests. My hosts were kind, friendly, thoughtful, responsive, and even were able to arrange a later checkout for a late-afternoon flight home. I had an amazing visit! There will definitely be a next time, because I’ll be back!

Excellent attention to detail throughout our stay. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, the towels were plush and high-quality, and the variety of pillows was truly stellar—perfect for any type of sleeper. We also really appreciated the thoughtful extras, including the cute on-site mini gym for a quick workout and the complimentary bikes, which were a great touch.||The location was ideal—central to everything—making it easy to get around the city or have food delivered with no hassle.||A couple of minor suggestions for improvement: adding rug stays to all area rugs would greatly improve safety, as some tended to slip.
