Willow Motel

Marge was a friendly, helpful host to us during leaf peeping season. We enjoyed the kitchenette in our room. Great location for Meyers Beach trail area and also seeing beautiful sunsets on the beach in Herbster.

For her birthday, my wife Kathy wanted to see the ice caves along the south shore of Lake Superior. The Willow Motel (kitchenettes) is about 12 miles west of Meyers Beach, where one parks before walking out onto the ice to see the caves.||||Marge, the owner, is very friendly. Our room was not new & shiny & fancy. It has probably not changed for many years, but it was clean & comfortable. I slept well, which is not always easy for me. The bathroom was clean, with plenty of hot water. The TV had lots of channels, from either a cable or dish hookup. Full size coffee maker with Folgers Gourmet coffee.||||Our lodging cost us less than half of what we would have paid in nearby Bayfield or Ashland. First off, Marge is a generous and caring host- do Not hesitate to CALL to check availability of this quaint and cozy cabin off the lake. We rolled in late and were lucky to have her there.. perfect kitchenette and comfy beds. A quick walk to the lake. I even left my passport there and Margie expedited it to Me the next day. You cant replace the genuine care and hospitality of somewhere like the Willow Motel. Highly recommend. Thank you!

A nice little place to get away in the Bayfield peninsula. Excellent place to stay whilst exploring around Lake Superior and Apostle Islands. Marge is a sweet person, easy to talk with, and very friendly! can't wait to go back this summer!

Small cabin, clean, friendly owner. I stayed in cabin #2, and it had a cupboard full of dishes. Great view of the snow, it was heated, and had hot water. Just the perfect place to get away. No wifi, but has a TV. Reminded me of visiting my grandmother up north in her cabin.
