Willow Campground

Stayed here at two adjacent sites, 14 people. The sites are very spacious and there is potable water next to many sites. Fire rings with barbecue grills on top. Some sites have shade. My only complaint is the noise from the road nearby. Throughout the night there are cars flying by. And you can hear every one from your tent.

Great fishing spot inside Brennan Island campgrounds. Today was a busy day. I was only there for fishing but looked like every camp site was occupied. Great weather for camping if you enjoy the heat!!

Fully flat ground. Partially shaded. Clean and usable rest rooms. Loose soil. On windy day difficult to secure the tents. Better to carry heavy duty tent stakes. When we visited the wind gusts were 23mph. Swimming access and boating access available. Water spouts available for every alternate tent sites.

This was our first time camping and it was a pleasant experience. There were only about 10 other campsites in use, so although there were no immediate neighbors to our site, I didn't feel too isolated, as I could see the other campers around us. A lot of weeds and foxtails, so I constantly had to check my puppy's paws. The restrooms were adequate and although we didn't use the showers, they looked decent. There are a couple of things I wasn't too keen about which is why I gave it four stars: 1) There are a lot of bugs. Pincher bugs seemed to congregate in one of the restrooms, and 2) Hwy 160 is very close to this recreational area. The noise of the cars going by isn't too bad, but you can definitely hear it when you're trying to get to sleep. On the particular night we stayed, there was so

We always have a great time. Whole family came up this time with awesome friends of our family with their children. Awesome trip. Temp reached over 100, but we stayed cool in the river. Nice trip overall.
