Williams Creek Retreat

Thank you for sharing your cabin(s) with our family. We come from Fort Payne, Alabama to Oneida Tennessee to visit family and do work for the Lord, If your looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind this is the place to be. Cabins sit back in the woods away from all civilization. This was our 4th stay at Williams Creek Cabins and we have never been disappointed. As a native Scott Countian, I am very familiar with the area and the Big South Fork. I never knew this little place existed. The location is great for exploring the Big South Fork, yet close enough to the city of Oneida in case you need to run to Walmart. The family that owns the cabins are super friendly and accomodating. We had no issues with the reservation process. The cabin itself was extremely clean. I was very impressed. My only issue is that there weren't any extra blankets in the closets and the matresses were really uncomfortable. The pillows were pretty worn, but we slept fairly well. They have a little info binder on the coffee table, but so many of the businesses have closed. They really need to update that as well. ||||All in all, we'll be back. We loved sitting in the rockin

Good location for BSF hiking and close to town (Oneida). We stayed at the Raccoon Ridge cabin July 10th- 14th. The cabin was very clean, well appointed, and roomy. There was basic cable (mainly local channels) and no internet service which is why it was quite and restful. The cabin could use a little indoor sound proofing. Oneida has limited restaurants but Preston's, Philips drive-in, and Pizza Hut were all good and the citizens were all very friendly. Enjoyed the cabin and our vacation. Definitely Recommend and will return in future.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin 1 was very secluded, so peaceful, had a wrap around porch where you could sit and listen to the little creek behind the cabin. There was a charcoal grill and a fire ring, along with fire wood. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. The walls of each room do not go up to the ceiling, so sound travels throughout the cabin. The owners are super nice and helpful.

We were looking for a place to stay for 5 days while hiking in the Big South Fork area. We found this place on the internet but there were no reviews posted. We are so happy we took the chance! The photos are accurate that you see on their website. The cabin was wonderful--very clean and fully furnished. It was a joy to see the area by day and come back to cook/grill dinner at our leisure, enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch, listen to bullfrogs, or just watch cable TV and sit in front of the gas fireplace. The nearby town of Oneida has everything that you'd need. There is even a Walmart, fast food places, and a Chinese restaurant in case you don't feel like cooking. This is a remote area but central to the neat town of Rugby, old mining towns, and great hiking at many parks. ||The only
