My friends and I traveled from Minnesota to spend time at the Gila Wilderness lodge. The accomidations and food were excellent. We would recommend bringing a group to enjoy some quality time in the Wilderness with friendly hosts and nice hot springs.

This might be my 5th or 6th visit to the Lodge. I invited my best friends to join me for a weekend of hiking, soaking in hot springs, inner tubing, fishing, relaxing, warming fire in the wood stove and delicious breakfasts as we celebrated my 60th birthday. We even had room upstairs for a massage table! It was everything I expected and more. Lots of laughs and love in the most comfortable space ever! Thanks Jane and Dean for helping to make our weekend perfect!

Old school house, former bed & breakfast turned private group vacation rental in the small, funky town of Gila Hot Springs. The lodge is a beautiful and spacious home that can comfortably fit 15 people (more if the common sleeping area is utilized). The kitchen is large and well stocked with 2 ovens, a stove top, and a microwave. It's also a very comfortable and natural gathering place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We love the Wilderness Lodge and stay there every Labor Day weekend with our group. Jane and Dean are perfect hosts, and the lodge has everything we need to relax, make fabulous meals, and be a base for fun day hikes :-)

Our family of 32 - 15 adults and 17 kids aged 13 and younger (+1 dog) - was the largest group to invade Jane & Dean's lodge. They handled our crew with aplomb. We loved the delicious, hearty breakfasts they provided, and spent the days soaking in the hot springs, swinging from the trees, walking along the river and visiting the nearby Gila Cliff Dwellings. We played horse shoes & checkers, put together puzzles, found tadpoles and frogs, and had plenty of time to relax on the front porch and catch up with each other, with some coming from as far away as South Korea. We were able to prepare our own yummy Dutch oven desserts and cook up some pretty fine meals in the spacious kitchen where we were able to all sit down and eat together. Each couple had their own private room, and the kids loved
