Wild Wonderful Skoolies and Camping LLC

First of all no one was home when we arrived. I had left several messages with no return calls. The website is very misleading as you feel like you will be out in the woods somewhat. Our Skoolie was the first ones and as directly off the main road beside the owners mobile home. The others lined up behind ours in their back yard. The buses were clean as were the bath house. We never laid eyes on the owners. Not welcoming place at all. We did make the best of it for our 4 year old granddaughter. It is not a place I would recommend. Holly River State park Is about 10 minutes up the road and has beautiful, affordable cabins and they have a pool there. Anyhow the pictures make the place much more inviting than what it is.

My family spent 2025 Father’s Day here in the Magic bus & it was such a nice stay. Even though it rained a lot, listening to the rain hit the roof of the bus was so relaxing! We were located right on the creek but the pond was just a small walk away. You could see it from our bus which was right in the front of the camp site! We had 2 adults, 3 kids (one the size of a man) & 1 medium/large dog & we fit comfortably in the Magic. My husband’s adult daughter also drove in to see us for a few hours & with all 7 of us hanging out there was still plenty of room. Sheena, the owner, was very responsive & took no time at all to respond to any of our needs. There is a wash house with FOUR separate washrooms! Oh & the wifi worked like a charm for every single device brought with us which was many! Th

Loved our stay @ WW Skoolies. Our bus was super comfy with great amenities. Neat, clean. The babbling brook next to the bus was just what the doc ordered. Peaceful, relaxing. Lovely setting in the lush green mountains of W VA. The AC in our bus mostly got the job done, tho it could get hot during the day with the sun beaming down. But hey, we opted to spend July 4 weekend in a school bus, not a corporate chain hotel.

We spent 2 nights on the cherry blossoms. It was plenty big enough for the 4 of us. Campground was very clean and relatively quiet, given its close proximity to the main road. The kids loved fishing there. We will definitely return next year and maybe stay on a different bus.
