Wild Waves Motel and Beach

We loved this place! Hassle-free, very private beach. We enjoyed playing in the gentle waves, and the sunset was AMAZING! We stayed in room 5 and found it very comfortable - nice fridge and microwave, even a coffee pot! I did call management once because we thought there was no hot water. But you just had to let the shower run for a bit. Easy communication, very laid-back atmosphere. I think my favorite vacation ever because everything was so easy and relaxing. We definitely want to book this place again! A+

We rented the house at Wild Waves so my family could meet up and go to Cedar Point. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were able to cook our meals, enjoy the many porches and THE VIEW! This place is a piece of Heaven on the sandy beach of Lake Erie. Beautiful sunset! Waves for the kids to swim and play! And a deck on the beach for adults to enjoy wine and company! I am telling you...this is the place for value, cleanliness, and a hidden gem!

We had such an excellent time! The full size fridge was a great surprise! The private beach was beautiful! Eagles nesting near was an added bonus. Past reviews complained about the lack of coffee makers & no hot water. Both claims untrue. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back! ❤️

If you're headed to Lake Erie to fish or ride roller coasters, this place is awesome! They have a beautiful beach, it's relaxing, you can build a fire in 1 of their fire pits! Fantastic! Have stayed 3 different times now, love it!

This motel is in a good location and does have good beach access, however, the day we were there the entire day we could not use the beach access that we paid good money for because they were pouring concrete the entire day. I wish they would have notified me of that so we could have made arrangements to stay elsewhere. We stayed in room 5, upon entering it does have a strong odor of mold or mildew. There is a nice size refrigerator and microwave but no coffee pot or hair dryer. They supplied lots of towels and bar soap but no shampoo. There were no batteries in the remote control (we went to Dollar General and bought some). I'm not sure if hot water ever comes out of the sink but it takes a while for it to get hot in the shower. The rooms are average (definitely a much older motel). The
