Customer Reviews
Great campground centrally located. Could walk to Natural Bridge and also has a connection to a large hiking path. Quiet and easy to find. Only downside is your in the hills of KY so just make sure you bring you backup skills if your parking an RV, tighter road/space then what I'm used to but just took a few more pull forwards/back to get it done. Thanks!!
The campground was very well maintained. Super clean restrooms. Campsite was very clean upon arrival. Two short trails off the campground that were also well maintained and enjoyable. Centrally located to the main arch and many other trails and activities in RRG. Highly recommend. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable and very friendly
I honestly loved this spot. April took care of us and accommodated to our needs without even asking. She was one of the best campground personnel I’ve come across in awhile. Give her a raise. We had a group campout here and worked well with getting a few sites together even though there smaller. The Facilities were decently clean which always matters. It has two different trails within the campground that are awesome. Natural Bridge State Park is definitely a must do in Red River Gorge!
My friends and I took 2 of my boys camping last week. It was a great spot. A little far from the bathroom but we did not mind the x hike. We plan to bring our Girl Scouts troop back this fall. ❤️❤️❤️ added bonus was the trails right on sight.
There isn't a lot of security in the campground like we are used to in Indiana and Ohio. The bathhouse didn't seem to be routinely cleaned and was out of toilet paper one day. Small campground but having a stream at the back of out campsite was really calming. We weren't able to use the dumpstation because our rig was too big to safely make the turn to where it was up by the bathhouse. If you need the dumpstation you may want to bring one of those little blue toters that you pull behind your truck to empty. The campground was centrally located close to everything in Natural Bridge State Resort Park and Red River Gorge area.
