White Thorn Lodge

We visited for the 1st time for volleyball Super Bowl weekend in September. It certainly is way off the main area near the PA/OH border. Staying at a nearby hotel since the 4 cabins were reserved, we visited each day for 3 days at $85 each. Attendance was slightly less this year so we were able to find parking in the field. We had prescheduled a massage in the spa hut, not affiliated by WTL. It was a decent experience. For all the volleyball fans, this is the ultimate destination to play all weekend long. If that is not top priority there are few other activities to take part in. I signed up for the novice level and was somehow mistakenly placed on a pro team and quickly made an example of for my errors. I didn’t participate after that. The pool area is enjoyable with dj’s playing music

Attended Superbowl VB Tournament. Stayed in tent. Very clean resort. These guys put a lot of effort into this tournament before and during to keep the grounds and facilities clean. Food was excellent again. Great tournament.

Just returned home from a little weekend. Getaway and realized the wife and I have been going here since 2014. That alone should let people know just how great this place is. In all those years we have never encountered anyone who is not very friendly. They work hard to keep it clean and up to date. In my opinion you would be hard pressed to find any better place. To kick back relax and enjoy yourself. Keep up the great work WTL !!

This place is awesome. I’m half way through a two night three day stay. I’m in a cabin that is really just that. No water, just a bed, dorm size fridge and a table and chairs. All the facilities are a stones throw away and very well kept up. The resort is member owned and operated and these folks take good care of the grounds. The pool is heated saltwater, the hot tub is large and pristine. There’s a dry sauna and both indoor and outdoor showers. The restrooms are well maintained. There’s four cabins for rent and lots of camping on a well maintained grassy area with plenty of shade trees. The local people here are super friendly. If you are looking for a place to try “back to nature” for the first time or you are a regular at nudist resorts, you can’t go wrong here.

White Thorn Lodge (WTL) is a seasonal family nudist campground and resort on the Pennsylvania-Ohio border.
