White Coach Motel

More of a stay by week or month type of place for people who aren't able to get apartments. Rooms have small kitchenette with stove top and small appliances but not really availability and not clean or maintained.

For $50/night you can't expect much. My brother booked the motel so I wasn't sure what I was in for. I was happy to see decent towels, newish shower curtain, nice curtains with mini-blinds and cute clean sheets. It also has a dorm size fridge without any freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker, an old TV, a desk and a comfy rocker. The room and bathroom are super small. The bathroom is in need of a refresh and/or some deep cleaning.

My Mom and I stayed here for Brimfield Antique show in July this year (2012). This was our first time going to the show and we didn't know what the place would look like when we arrived. It ended up being the perfect little place to stay. We also ended up locking our keys in the car and the gentleman working the lawn and the front desk lady were a huge help. Rooms were clean and cozy, all you need for a nice stay during antique week! About 4 miles away from the actual antique show which was nice to escape to during the hot afternoons!

Are they actually a motel? I called two years ago to see if I could rent a room for someone who was visiting us, the person who answered said "we don't rent rooms like that". So this leaves me with many questions. I live very close to it. My neighbors and I think it's wicked sketchy. My opinion by the answer given on the phone is they rent long term like an apartment... Only Brimfield doesn't allow multiple dwellings so they keep the name motel. This just popped up in my Contribute Google feed so, I thought I would review to save anyone the time who was actually looking for a motel.

Stayed there for antique week a few times and during business. Friendly and helpful staff and a quiet forest setting. Rooms were clean and quaint. A Mom and Pop run place. You have to pay with cash, or check as they don't have abilitiy to charge rooms.
