White Bear Inn

This is a last ditch motel. No owner on-site. Ran by over the phone pmt & key release. Rooms clean and all basic necessities. BUT, the beds (everyone in my crew said this) are HORRIBLE! They are a brick to sleep on and 1"pancake pillows. That means they're like 20 years old & never washed. Yuk! I beg the owner to lay in one of these beds yourself and see how it feels. They suck! Put a topper on them at least.

The inn is very nice and clean. You don't see any staff though. When you get there, you call the number and they give you a combination to a lock box and which key (room) is yours. I was there for two days and there was no housekeeping. It was great for me, but I enjoy the solitude. The location is great as well if that's where you want to be.

We had stayed here 3 times before and had good experiences, which is what the 2 stars are for. Our little dog was no problem those times. The last time we stayed there they charged us $15 cleaning fee because of our dog even though she never makes a mess at motels. But I had to do some cleaning when we checked in so we left it cleaner than when we arrived. Soap spilled all around sink and splattered food all over inside microwave. Lamp not plugged in and had to move the mattress and box springs away from the wall to plug it in. No other outlets next to bed even though I have to plug my CPAP machine in. Thankfully we had an extension cord with us. Otherwise we wouldn’t have the lamp to use. Also, very dirty and dusty behind bed and nightstand. We won’t be staying there anymore, even though

Wow! Felt like home as soon as I stepped into the room! Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip. Great place for a tired truck driver to bed down for the night with peace and quiet! Not really any truck parking, but if you bobtail in it's fine. You could theoretically park a tractor trailer, but it'll be tight in or out. Owners have absolute hospitality and awesome kindness! Great place!

This place served its porpose.we came up for a funeral it wasthe only motel in satana and it was paid for. So that's where we stayed
