we got scammed here! do NOT do boating or boating camping in august! They did not tell us the whitcomb boat launch was closed because the water is so low. We had to HIKE UP A STEEP HILL to get to our site (boating camping) utterly miserable. We hiked up to the service road and 2 park rangers in a truck passed directly in front of us, IGNORED US even though we were yelling, waving our arms…like what if we had a medical emergency or something? worst camping, boating, lake experience ever and a terrible way to end summer
