Whispering Winds Rv & Fun Center

This is my second time going to Whispering Winds campground. I've been to eight different places if you want the quaint little Campground experience. This is the place for you. They make you feel very friendly and welcome and all their activities they go out of your way to help you with anything you need the owners are very friendly. I found out they bought this place at auction a few years back . yes, there are other bigger Camp Grounds with more to offer but for the price which is very cheap it is that old time feeling of camping like it used to be. I am an older adult and just bought an RV and I will definitely come back here again. The sites are very well-maintained and every site has water, electric and sewer. They also have a very nice pool and rec room.

Very welcoming friendly campground! Love all the land for my two large dogs to walk and play. Sitting in the morning and seeing all the wild life in the pond or walking and seeing all the deer was always a great part. One great bonus that we didn’t expect was the firework show that Mary and Peter put on it was amazing!! Seasonal again next year.

Had a great time at the haunted house! The workers were so friendly and loved my almost 3 year old nephew that was with our group. He was a chatterbox and they talked with him and said he was so cute. He wasn’t fazed at all but my 10 year old started crying at the chainsaws but afterwards he said how fun it was and said he was glad he got a little scared. A nice haunted house close to home and you could tell they put a lot of love and time into it. We had a group of 8 people and it went smoothly!

This was a last minute attempt to find a campground. I read some of the reviews, but thought it can't be that bad! I was wrong!!! The water treatment plant backs up to the campground so when the wind blows the right way you smell sewage. The trains run just along the campground and blow whistles all night long. Grass and grounds are poorly maintained. As a matter of fact night 1 a large portion of a tree fell on 3 vehicles. You could see the giant limb was rotten. As for the campground management they told the owners of the vehicles that its not their problem. The man who's truck was damaged was extremely upset. When they finally brought a front end loader out to pick up the tree they didn't chain it and had campers walking under to move their cars. No concern for their safety what so

The owners are super friendly and accommodati g. There is a feeling of community and family. This was my first campground going full-time. Owner Peter took the time to teach me so much. They were always helping the campers and made you feel like home. The grounds are well maintained and plenty to do with the kids. I will definitely be back.
