Whispering Waters Campground

I stayed here from Juneish to September 2024 and it was a great experience. I was mostly camping alone and I never felt the slightest bit unsafe. Matt and Shelly and the rest of the campground staff were kind and so extremely helpful. They offer services like you get at one of the fancy RV parks but the whole atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and there's no camper envy. There were no creepy guys (a concern for a woman camping alone!) and if there were I would have felt completely comfortable asking any of the staff for support. The grounds and the area around are beautiful and there are lots of hidden gem wildernessy areas; it's like actual camping. The river is beautiful and the woods are peaceful. We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The pool is clean and there are plenty of chairs for parents to watch the kids. Lots are smaller than average (long and narrow) but most are pull through and full hook ups. Playground for kids is a long distance away from camp sites and some of the playground equipment is very old. Bathrooms are large and very clean. Showers are private and even cleaner than the bathrooms! I took a shower just because they were so clean. The river runs right along the campground and there is a spot that looks easy to get in or out of the river. Overall, the campground is clean, quiet and the owners are very nice and always available. We will be staying agin.

I delivered a camper to Whispering Waters Campground in Hastings today and was very pleasantly surprised by their facilities! The owner, Matt, was very kind and courteous upon my arrival. He took the time to personally take me to the site and gave me great directions to assist with the back up and positioning of the camper. Their facilities and bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Overall, a great place that I would recommend to anyone!

We were looking for a new place to spend our summers. The staff and residents here are super friendly. The park is very clean and the pool looks so inviting. I love that they have so many activities! That was a huge plus for us. We can't wait to get our trailer set up in our new summer home!

Owners are very accommodating and pleasant to work with. Park is clean and well maintained. A bunch of seasonally set up campers that are very nice and helpful.
