Whispering Sands Motel

We were able to have the most WONDERFUL stay at Whispering Sands Motel. We stayed two nights for a Valentine’s Day Getaway. We did their Valentine’s Day package deal, that included rose petals on the bed, sparkling cider, Valentine’s Day dinner at Slick Rock Grill, and Breakfast delivered to our room the following morning. This was soooo fun! And I highly recommend coming for this package deal, and also recommend the Motel if you’re passing through. This is the CLEANEST hotel I’ve ever been in. It was SPOTLESS. The beds were comfortable, I appreciated the fridge and microwave available too. We received a voucher for biscuits and gravy at the gas station “Stan’s” Located within walking distance, there is a walking path from the Motel to “STAN’S” gas station and Burger Shack. We stayed at Whispering Sands on 12/30/2025. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room that has been recently updated, which made it a comfortable stay. Since it is the off season, breakfast consisted of a Grab-n-Go bag; It had 3 small muffins, Motts squeezy applesauce and a package of oatmeal.

We had a perfect stay at the Whispering Sands Motel to visit the nearby Goblin Valley (only a 30-minute drive away from the motel)! The room was very clean and had everything you needed. During our stay the staff was really helpful and also responsive in their communication beforehand.

A very clean and comfortable hotel in the small town of Hanksville. The beds feel new and are comfortable. Rooms have all the amenities and you get a voucher for breakfast at the market next door, which has biscuits and high quality coffee. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended

A great budget friendly motel in Hanksville. Right near all the beautiful nature. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and staff was great. Supplied a grab and go breakfast for the morning. If you’re passing through Hanksville while your adventuring definitely a good spot to stay!
