Whispering Pines Camping Estates

Excellent camping experience! Chris was very welcoming and accommodating! There was a little arcade with an awesome South Park pin ball machine, and beautiful horses/pasture next to the campground. Nothing fancy yet perfect. Would stay again for sure! :)

We were overall delighted with our camping experience. We were the only tent campers in the entire campground who stayed here on a Thursday night. We asked for power and privacy and were given the chance to drive through the area to pick our own campsite. We settled with a lot tucked in the corner-ish area where we felt as though we had the entire campground to ourselves. Our spot had Wi-Fi access which was a nice touch, there is a pool at the front office where snacks, firewood, blankets, toiletries, or anything you can thinks of can be purchased. We traveled with 2 dogs who were required to be on leash but that was fine with us. The campground was very quiet at night and we had a fair walk to the heated bathroom (but again that was fine with us! We wanted seclusion, not convenience). I’d

We loved staying at whispering pines! We usually stay at state parks but Ricketts Glen was full so we tried whispering pines and we are so happy we did. The site they gave us was spacious, clean and had lots of room for the kids to run and play. Having full hook up with internet was a nice touch too as we don’t usually have that. The internet was good enough to stream movies from the firestick for the kids before bed. And it was nice having internet since our service was spotty in the area. ||The park overall was very quiet despite people being around and a lot having dogs (all leashed). It was very relaxing. ||There was a little store on site, and a small game room the kids loved playing in. Also loved the small|Touches around the campground… lots of|Games out to play, hayrides and bingo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. We took 13 Girl Scouts for an overnight. We had easy access to Rickett's Glen park for hiking the next day. We had a perfect large tent site that easily fit our 4 tents. The owners gave us access to cabins that were not being used that night and plenty of firewood for our 37 degree evening! While our girls were working hard to put up our tents and set up camp, the owners brought them Halloween treats! Very kind owners and staff and very safe and quiet campground. We would stay here again!

We stayed with a 19 foot travel trailer 3 nights Mon-Wed. Despite the rain we really enjoyed this campgroung. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Large sites which we like! Campground was quiet which could be due to weekenders not being there - there are a lot of seasonal campers. Lots of things provided for families to do like horseshoes, volleyball, pond, fishing, ping pong and small game room. Bathrooms were clean. We stayed there to access Ricketts Glen for hiking and it was convenient for that. We also had one dog and that was not a problem. Loved our stay and would go again.
