Customer Reviews
The campground is mostly seasonal sites. For the most part sites are close together. We had G1 which is very nice and roomy. It was a bit noisy over the weekend but did seem to quiet down at 10pm. The showers are not very clean and the washers and dryers are pretty old.
I have been visiting Whispering Pines since I was a little girl. As a mother of three, my husband and I have continued the tradition and have even gone seasonal! So much for the little to do all summer long. We especially love the themed weekends!
We had a nice campsite on the end of the road near the facilities. We have a truck camper so this pull through was perfect. The staff were great and added some enjoyment to the our long weekend! There were plenty of planned events and amenities for entire families. The campground is very well maintained. My wife and I had a wonderful stay! We would highly recommend Whispering Pines Campground!
Overall this is a nice campground tucked away in a quiet area. We had a spacious site with some shade, but not all sites were as spacious. The pool is too small for the number of weekend campers. The campground appears to have mostly seasonal campers and too manygolf carts. We were in the area visiting with our son in college at NEIT. We will stay here again as long as we can get the same site.
The camp manager was very rude the minute we got to the gate, shouting from across the parking lot what the gate code was. Not a great first impression. But who cares, right? Sites are not large at all, maybe for the seasonal. We were arms length from the guy next to us. The campground fireplace grill was unusable due to it being smashed on one side. Bathrooms need some updating, pool was dirty. The Old lady, comes barreling up in her golf cart and yells at us, from the road, that checkout was at 11. Told her that I extended a day. I pulled up the email I sent 3 days before we were to arrive. She said corporate never sent it to them. Well, whose fault is that? I had the email. She said, next time call the office. Oh, there won’t be a next time. A little customer service tack goe
