Whispering Pines Campground

Was there for a year, out the next. New owners are absolutely terrible. They raised the price 400$ their first year. There’s a few ponds there that were left untreated and unfishable for months. The swimming pool kept getting shut down very frequently.. Water was shut off inconveniently multiple times. My electric bill for a weekend was 60 dollars!!!! With the previous owners I paid 90$ in electric the entire year, and I lived there for 3 months straight with ac! They verbally harassed a family member that camped there for 7 years no issue until they became the new owners. Vince likes to steal from people, he will go on your sight take your chairs or whatever you may have sitting out and put it in his scrap pile to make a quick buck and this has happened to multiple people, his reasoning “

Vince was a really guy and showed us what he had but our rig was too big. Will look again later this fall next spring. Just bought it and seems to working hard to upgrade it

We had an awesome time visiting our friends here, and meeting everyone at the camp-wide pot luck breakfast (which was absolutely AMAZING!). The owners were really nice too. Beautiful place

This was my first time at whispering pines, I've been to several camp grounds. Whispering pines is a beautiful relaxing environment, fun events every weekend , pool for everyone. Everyone treated me like family.I will definitely recommend this place for everyone and I will be going back hopefully as my summer home!

Only been here since start of the 2019 season but both the grounds and all the people are very nice, you can tell the owners care by the way things are cared for and everyone is so helpful and friendly.
