Whispering Oaks Cabins

The “Mini” is beautiful and intimate, away from the other cabins. Feels like it’s brand new. (The photos at the website are very accurate). I want the interior wood in my house! Very well stocked kitchen area, full size appliances; bed, bathroom and kitchen are immaculate. Bed very comfy. Nice and bright place, excellent heater/air conditioner unit. Newer windows, loved the blinds. It’s cozy and just fine for 2 people. We went at the end of April for a week and again for 4 days at the end of May. We’ve booked a week in October. At $515 (+tax) weekly you can’t beat it, and our two cats are welcome. :) ((There’s also a covered porch on it now.)). Wi-Fi and LTE are *very* spotty so we drove into Leeper daily to check for any urgent messages. It was kind of nice to be off the grid but hard

Cabin #4 Day 1 First of all don’t try to come even 5 mins early for check in the lady refused to give me the key until 4:00 on the dot. The steps leading up to the cabin are rocks which was kinda cute looking at them. But using them isn’t for everyone. My husband has a bad back he walked up the hill around them because if he fell it would have sent him to the hospital. All of the other cabins here have decent steps and flat seating outside. Cabin 4 is not for everyone. The ad said a queen bed and it is definitely not! It’s like a super single. Sure wish they woulda told me. There are No fans and the cabin was closed up, hot as hell. Again if they would have told me I would have brought a fan. The window handle broken so opening a window was a chore. The cabinet drawer has a piece of wire

Really love the forest very clean cabin we went the beginning of the week was quite and peaceful. Will definitely stay again

I keep coming back every year..love it so much..mini is my favorite but all the cabins are beautiful and well maintained..bonus the knotty pines restaurant lounge a walk away..so if ya like to drink....you can stumble over for eats 😄 and more drinks!!

My fiancé and I stayed in the "mini" cabin for a week with out two dogs. This cabin is a PERFECT getaway! Beautiful environment. Very clean and quiet. We will definitely be back and highly suggest if you want a quiet, peaceful place to get away from city life, come to whispering Oaks and rent the "mini"
