The Whippoorwill Inn was amazing! We would highly suggest the River Rock Cafe for lunch! Little Italy in King, NC was one of the most amazing Italian restaurants we've ever been to and is only about 30 minutes away from the Inn . The beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! The property is absolutely gorgeous with river and mountain views. The hosts Peggy and Brandon were very accommodating and quick to respond. We would definitely recommend and definitely want to go back again. The set up is perfect for families and pets.
Beautiful airbnb close to the river and Hanging rock state park! My husband and I visited this airbnb 5 years ago and since then it's been bought by new owners who have done a tremendous job renovating it. We were so excited to visit it again and see all the updates they have made
Such a neat place to stay! It would be perfect for multi-generational families to stay in together, as there are two parts of the house, each with their own kitchen and bathroom. Many touches to make it more homey.
Very nice Inn we enjoyed the feeling of home away from home even if it was just for a night. Full kitchen with every thing you need to cook and eat. WiFi with a smart TV that has Netflix too. Right on the Dan River!
If you're looking for a quiet country morning vacation stay, it doesn't get much better than the Whippoorwill. Don't forget to visit Andy Griffith's hometown in historic Mount Airy
