Wetherill Inn

Wetherill Inn in Kayenta turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable after a long day in Monument Valley. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the little gift shop with local crafts was nice to see. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s well-kept and run by people who clearly care. Good value for the area.

Clean, spacious and well placed. A little dated but entirely adequate for a short stay. The breakfast was copious but all served on disposable plates, cutlery and cups.

We had a lovely corner room. The breakfast, especially the coffee, was terrific. It is a perfect location to stay if you are interested in hiking and exploring Navajo National Monument, and Monument Valley. I loved the hot shower after a day of hiking. Remember to save some of your shopping for the wonderful gift shop. I purchased my favorite T-shirt, and a beautiful handcrafted necklace.

Just checked in and found the place just what we were looking for Nice well appointed rooms very helpful and friendly staff, wonderful gift shop! I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling in the area
