Westport Lakeside Motel

When God created Heaven a little piece must have fallen off and landed in Westport NY — he then got Jim and Jayne to run the motel there. Super people, super location — great place to spend the night or longer. Hope to see you soon!

This place is right next to the water, easy access to boats and sky jets. Beautiful to stay outside and have dinner, has a fire place right next to the water. Hosts are amazing, very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are outdated, AC was a bit loud. Mattresses were very soft and not very comfortable to sleep. For 1 night was great and will definitely come back.

I grew up being taken to Lake Champlain all my life and my son and I continue to go back each summer. This motel is so cozy and near so many fun things to do. Jim and Jayne are amazing hosts and are clearly about their guests comfort and not their wallets. Highly recommend staying here!!

it was so very nice to see that awesome motels still exist! very quaint, quiet, and peaceful. the outdoor amenities were a nice touch. the scenery was simply stunning. i wish i'd been there on vacation rather than business, but i fully intend to make the 6 hour drive back in the future so i can show this awesome place to my love and we can have a romantic getaway by The Lake. thank you!

Our room was clean and tidy but the mattress was not very good and the pillows were flat and hard. Coffee could also have been much better. Management was friendly and attentive. You can do a lot worse picking a motel but if a good, swimmable beach is important to you, this one doesn't have that.
