Western Motel

This place is what Route 66 travel is all about. Very clean and comfortable yet priced so anybody can afford to visit. Check out their story on their Facebook page. Run by a family that understands hospitality. Stay at this motel and remember the good ol' days that are still here to experience.

My room looked out at the fabulous neon sign. It was clean, spacious, had everything I needed. And breakfast at the Hi-Way Cafe next door was excellent. If you’re looking for the best of Route 66, you’ll find it here.

No online booking. They don’t answer the phone. They don’t return messages. They aren’t in the office during normal hours. Impossible to book. Do yourself a favor, keep driving to a better motel in another town.

I fell down while checking in. There was a door threshold that was dangerous and a curb and definitely deficient. The owner call the infamous Vinita police on me. And while watching television in my room. 80 dollars per day. Suddenly there were no less than 8 cops, at my door. Lawsuit is pending.

This place was nice and historical! But the Half way Cafe.
