Western Hills Motel

The owner was very welcoming to us when he found out we were from Alberta Canada .The motel is older but clean and comfortable and quiet. He gave us complimentary travel books for our convenience. We really appreciated that . We will stay there again the next time we are pulling through. Thank you.

This is a peaceful motel with seemingly soundproof rooms. Great water pressure in the shower, sink & toilet. Plenty of hot water & clean towels. Nice large flat screen TV with over 70 channels. The Western Hills has lovely gardens planted with flowers, cacti, various species of small trees, bushes and large interesting stone boulders. The people who operate Western Hills are extremely nice & make us feel welcome, comfortable and safe. It is a shame this motel is to be torn down to make room for progress.

Shower was terrible, most of the water came through the faucet and not the shower head. Bathtub drain barely drained leaving me in standing water. Needs major updating. Matress had springs sticking up making it very uncomfortable. Will not be staying there again. Beware🤪

Besides the crack head screaming all night across the street, the dripping bathroom sink, the only Windows in our room were both shattered and taped back together. The ac unit smelled of death. The extremely awkward and almost impossible language barrier. The cigarette burns in literally every piece of bedding. Absolutely zero internet or WiFi. The headboard rips your hair out. The light in our room only worked if you were touching the pull chain. The parking lot is designed to ruin your car. The shower has some ok water pressure but the toilet has zero. At all. Like you shouldn't eat sketchy food for dinner then sleep there. The toilet wouldn't flush a number 1 without a few tries. The Walgreens next door was great 👍

Business people need to understand the concept of good respectful service will have customers return. Do not go here the Chinese clerk has a nasty attitude like she's paying you and not the other way around. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME IRRITATION AND MONEY !
