WeStay Suites Belle Chasse

My first time in Belle Chasse and I felt so welcomed by the hospitable staff. The hotel has plenty of parking and located perfectly for recreation and work. I will be back!

The room was clean but aged. When turning the AC on, the room filled with smoke. The complimentary breakfast was a brown bag with an orange, a pre-wrapped sausage burger, and some sugary bread snack. The hotel is definitely misleading from the photos I saw on-line. I should have listened to the reviews.

Smells terrible!!! Pictures are very misleading. The room smelt like mildew and very small. Walls and carpet dirty.Do not recommend at all! I'd rather sleep in my car if I had to stay there again!!

Overall, the pictures of the hotel were definitely misleading, the entire place felt abysmally cramped for the two of us. Housekeeping is once a week, breakfast is 4-6am on weekdays (4-7am for our stay). With breakfast being jimmydean sausage microwaveables, a blueberry muffin, and questionably mushy apples. If you're an out of towner, there is something you should also know. Driving from New Orleans to Bell Chasse has a toll bridge that is $3 / trip over it, and if you are wanting to get an uber to the airport, or back here from NOLA? You will be spending $70 on an uber (or $200 for a lyft). The staff present were wonderful every time I saw them, but it was pretty bad overall.

This hotel is so disgusting. When you first walk in the hotel it smells nice but as soon as you get in the lobby it smells musty and moldy. The service was not that great. The first room they gave me smelled like mold. So I requested a new room, which they gave me the room right about the first one and it was much worse than the first. So I had to get another room. The first night my daughter and I ended up sleeping in my car because there were small little geckos all through out the hotel that got in my room. We had to keep the room really cold to make sure they stayed out of our room. The halls and stairwell were very dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning either.
