West Point Campground

Snagged the #2 Walk-In spot which is next to the first parking lot and restroom. The other spots might have been a bit of a walk to carry your camping gear to but I had no trouble at all. Lots of potable water faucets and the one next to me had a complementary bar of soap. The vault toilets are clean and had air fresheners so the interior didnt smell at all. Bear locker seems to be the standard size that comes with most campsites in the area but wouldnt recommend bringing more than two small ice chests or one big one. Only downside is you're very close to the water so the mosquitoes can be pretty vicious at dusk. Bring lots of bug spray! Definitely coming back though!

Would highly recommend! I love going camping every year to different spots and it was our first time at West Point campground and I instantly loved it. I would say it has my favorite campground. The camp host, Mike made our group camping experience the best! Mike is such a hard worker and friendly to our group. He was constantly checking up on us if we needed anything. The sites are clean and well maintained.

It was the best time with my family and friends 🙏🏼 I will definitely come back here!

Very nice at West Point Campground.. I was up there fishing today. Caught a couple of rainbow trout. Very nice there.. I recommend to all, go there to camp or fish or to spend the day with the family..

Very nice campgrounds. Campsites free until 2020. Quite a lot of mosquitos. I would recommend going here and picking the campsite farthest from the outhouse. It is secluded but still a popular spot, so be prepared to be around a lot of other people.
