West Palm Beach / Lion Country Safari KOA Journey

We stayed the weekend in the cabin and it was amazing! Staff was very helpful and friendly. The facilities are clean, playground, courts, and pool well kept. We could hear the lions from next door! Truly a weekend for the books! Disappointing to hear they are closing it.

I will never forget hearing the lions from the park roaring while sitting at my campsite. Something you will likely only experience on a safari in Africa. The safari park is right next door and you receive a discount if you stay at the KOA. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The amenities were very nice as well.

Lion Country Safari in West Palm Beach was such a fun and unique experience! Driving through the safari and seeing zebras, rhinos, giraffes, and even lions up close was absolutely thrilling. The park is well-organized, the animals look healthy and well cared for, and there’s so much to do – including the walk-through area with rides and animal encounters. A perfect day for families, couples, or anyone who loves wildlife. Highly recommended!

We come every Valentine’s Day weekend and we are so so sad to see this gem go. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is so relaxing. We love hearing the lions roar and the monkeys too! I am so grateful for the years of memories. ♥️

The wildlife safari experience here is fantastic. You can see giraffes, zebras, monkeys, and many other animals up close, making it exciting and educational for both kids and adults. The safari route is well organized, relaxed, and safe, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the animals. The natural setting feels immersive and authentic—definitely worth the visit.
