West Branch House

My husband and I travelled from east of Toronto on a spontaneous motorcycle ride to check out the fall colour. After a long day of riding making our way to Delhi, NY state from lake placid/lake George area we came across the West Branch b and b on Franklin St via Google. It was early evening by the time we arrived in the driveway without a reservation. Jimmy warmly received us, offered us a room for the evening and gave us some restaurant suggestions in the area. West Branch is a hop, skip and a jump away from the down town core which made it percect for a walk into town. |Highly recommend. Thanks Jimmy😊

Jimmy was a great host and made me feel very at home. The bed was comfortable, whole house clean, and the breakfast was amazing. I will be returning again!

This is a bed and breakfast that goes above and beyond— a beautiful old house that is renovated with care and lovingly maintained. Very comfortable beds, clean, quiet and nicely appointed. Jimmy (the owner) pays attention to every detail to make your stay warm and a pure joy...not to mention that he’s an amazing cook that makes whatever you want for a big, yummy breakfast. He and his wife make you feel at home...like you’re staying with close friends. Gorgeous gardens and a short walk to town. A true gem of a place that you won’t be sorry that you stayed there. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

We had a great stay at West Branch in June 2019. We were in town for a wedding. West Branch is a very charming, well-kept bnb. The rooms were immaculate, and Jimmy (the host) couldn't have been more hospitable. He's also a great cook and made us a breakfast the following morning that was delicious. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

West Branch House is a lovely B&B. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean and the public spaces are inviting. Best of all, Jimmy is a wonderful host - extremely accommodating, friendly and welcoming. He's also a marvelous chef and makes a delicious breakfast each morning. Staying at West Branch House was like being at home. We loved it!
