Weslake Resort

We have vacationed as a family for 20 years now. This resort is awesome for a family! I love that it has room for the kids to run and play, away from traffic. They have activities for the kids, but really, there is enough to do without them. (But our kids love the activities too.) There is a raft and this year a Maui mat for kids and adults to play on, kayaks, and other water toys all included. Owners are very friendly and helpful! I love that they have a laundry area to use. Two bedroom cabins aren't fancy, but definitely have all the basics.

A lovely, well-maintained resort on the lake. Beautiful views. Peaceful and relaxing. Our cabin was two bedroom with window air conditioners. It was so cool at night that we really didn't need them. We had our windows open and were able to enjoy the cool breeze and quiet. Bedrooms each had a single and a double bed. Very comfortable.|Nicely furnished. Special daily activity for guests from tie-dyeing to s'mores to bingo.|Owners and staff live on premises and are easily available to answer questions. They are all wonderful people who feel like family.|Enjoyed using the ski-doo on a quiet lake. Nice docks from which to fish.|Lots of lounge chairs to enjoy the day.

We had a family vacation here! Great cabin. The cabin had 4 bedrooms with 3 twin size beds in each. Living room had 2 pull out couches. Great place with awesome fishing. We would have preferred to have at least 2 rooms with a double bed or better. They did have a common fire pit pretty far away. It would have been nice to have one closer. All in all very nice. Beware pretty expensive at $300.00 a night. And they make you buy extra toilet paper. We would come back for the fishing!

I brought my brother here as a graduation gift. The "cabins" are really small houses. Perhaps they're a little rough around the edges, but they are in better repair than most cabins would be and have both heat and A/C. We used cabins 2 and 5, and both were comfortable and quiet, well spaced from other cabins. We rented boats for the weekend, and both boats were extremely clean and in excellent working condition. As it was an unusually cold weekend, we made use of the gift shop, getting hoodies and long sleeved t-shirts. The owners have guests on the honor system for bait and laundry, adding to the homey, family feel. I have been to a few lake resorts in the past, and this one was by far the best. The first thing you notice is that the grounds are well kept, which is always a good sign. Next, you will find that the staff are very courteous and truly have a desire to make your stay enjoyable. After that, when you hit the beach, you will see the VAST amounts of water toys for kids and adults alike (great paddleboats). Finally, the cabins remind you more of a small home away from home, than a cabin. I have been to some that required me to "rough it" a bit.
