Wells Inn

Older hotel and the only one in the area that offered a room at or below the Govt Rate for the dates that I needed to be in the area. It i an older hotel that is under renovations, but the owners did everything that they could to accommodate my needs.The owners were very nice and personable, but severely understaffed. Room was very clean, bed was very soft, and it was conveniently located for my particular business travel needs. I did feel the door to the room and the lock was questionable, you can quite easily leave the room and never lock the door. ||||It is a very reasonably priced room, but you do get what you pay for. Stayed here while working in the area in 2014. Could only imagine how high class and beautiful this place was back in its prime. The bar area and elevator was amazing. A presence was down there for sure. Can't wait to come back

We enjoyed our stay at Wells Inn! It is under renovation and a lot of work is in progress, but the owner was very accommodating, and staff friendly. The food was fantastic - a lovely surprise! The menu is akin to one you would find at a very nice restaurant. Chicken Marsala was delicious, and my husband loved the onion soup. Breakfast was cooked exactly to order; they have delicious muffins!

I stayed all night visiting in the area. It's a very nostalgic Inn. The owners and everyone i met there was extremely kind, helpful and genuinely nice. The room was very clean. Had everything I needed to be comfortable.
