Waterway Campground

We found this cozy campground by chance and so happy we did!!!! Kathy and the staff at Waterway were extremely nice and accommodating! The campground is small, but exceedingly clean and the perfect getaway if you are looking for peace and quiet. The sites are level and we had a shelter. The view was breathtaking as our 31’ ft motor home was backed up right to the waterway. And not to mention the gorgeous sunsets. We enjoyed watching the guests fish from the private pier. They have a small beach to walk on or float around in tubes or rafts while watching the boats go up and down the waterway. We will be back!!

My wife and I camped here for a weekend while we visited friends. The campground was quiet, well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was quite a bit of boat traffic in the intercostal behind us but it was never intrusive and was quite nice. This is a nice spot to just set up and chill but if you have young kids that are interested in thrills that don’t involve fishing, this probably isn’t the spot for you. I don’t say this as a negative thing because it’s just the kind of scene we prefer, just providing information. We recommend Waterway Campground and are likely to return.

Camping right on the water. Can't complain at all. Hot showers clean bathrooms and great long term tenants here also.

Nice place. Very neat and clean. We had a space right on the water. NO DISCOUNTS FOR LONG STAYS most of the time. 50/ night is not cheap. Showers and baths worked fine. Spaces are easy to get into as well. Place next door is 600+ month, but they are often full...

I contemplated not reviewing this place to keep it our little secret but this campground deserves all the kudos I can give. First off the view!!! They save all the best sites for non seasonal campers...what campground does that?!?! Amazing right!! Secondly, we work full time from the RV on video calls, 8 hours a day and the internet was AMAZING all week long. Third, everyone is so nice and friendly. It's a very quiet campground and nothing beats the sound and smell of the ocean at night with all the windows open. Lastly...did I mention the view!!! We will for sure be back again!! We even met the owner and she was super nice and wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
