Waterside Resort

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Yeah, nature is very prevalent with the spiders around but, the rooms were immaculate and bug free, we did see 2 spiders but, no problem compared to what it could've been. Heidi was VERY accommodating and ensured our rooms would be comfortable and she delivered!!!

Big & beautiful rooms! The rooms feature a full size kitchen & washer & dryer. 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms w/showers & tubs. One of the bathrooms has a jacuzzi tub. I nice swimming pool & gas fire bit. There's a beautiful dock & great views. Now for the only downside, Midges.... the deck & walls are covered with dead ones. We were able to sit on the deck & not be bothered by them (mid September trip).

Beautiful Property, Unbearable Infestation, and Unpleasant Staff My experience at this resort was a complete disappointment, despite some initial promise. The reservation process was seamless, and the staff I spoke with on the phone were very pleasant. I was grateful that they allowed my son to pick up my room key for my after-hours arrival. The room itself was immaculate and spacious upon arrival, which set a positive tone for our stay. Unfortunately, that positive impression was short-lived. The resort is infested with non-biting aquatic midges, a problem that appears to be long-standing despite being described as "new." Wonderful, quiet, peaceful stay in a two king sized bedroom facility with full kitchen living room. Washer dryer. Yes it has elevators. Very clean very up-to-date. Excellent sunset views excellent views of the water. Very close to historic Edenton which has many historic buildings, shops and restaurants. Wonderful relaxing time at this resort as well as the surrounding area. Staff is very informative and friendly, adding many helpful insights to visiting the surrounding attractions.

We secured this gem for a week through our vacation club. It is located near the most historic points in North Carolina, and close to the Outer Banks. The units are very luxurious. It's like staying in a beautifully equipped large condo with magnificent inner banks views. The pool area, the fire pit, the children's playground, everything is immaculately maintained and clean. We truly found a beautiful and relaxing gem with this one.
