Customer Reviews
Booked the property based on convenience, and it served the purpose well. Reception staff provided printed invoices promptly. The room lighting and ventilation were adequate. Overall, service delivery was consistent.
Great place I stayed here April 3th thru the 6th. Gary the owner helped me with my things. He carried everything into room 104 which is handicap room roomy and higher toilet and a shower chair grab bars in bathroom made it very easy to get around. The bed was super firm excellent for me my back is a mess, after business meetings I can lay down and relax. Rooms are clean and basic everything had been cleaned and smelled good. For a hotel that provides nice clean quiet rooms no fancy things not needed. Waterfront hotel and marina are the best deal for your money.
We stayed here twice -- once in mid-December, the second time on Christmas Eve. The first time, we were relatively happy. The rooms are TINY -- and the plastic cover on the mattresses (under the sheet) are ridiculous and annoying. ||But our stay on Christmas Eve was HORRIBLE. First, the manager called to inquire if we would be arriving at the time we originally specified. He made it sound like we HAD to get there then, because he wanted to get home to his family on Christmas Eve. The weather and roads on our 5-hour drive were awful, but we made it. That's when we saw the notices with check-in instructions taped to the door for other guests who were going to arrive later.....so we RUSHED for NOTHING.||Our rooms on Christmas Eve were at the very end of the hall on the first floor (th
My Boyfriend and I arrived from hour 5 hour drive from Minnesota only to find a dead fly in the bed, a massive dead boxelder bug in the bathroom and dead lady bug in the main living space. The shower curtain was tucked inside the bathtub, which appeared to be because the bottom of it was brown and discolored. Immediately upon walking in the building the vibe was off. Once the front desk manager was made aware of the bug situation and was told that we were no longer staying there and my boyfriend was collecting our belongings, he told my boyfriend he was doubtful that there were bugs in the room but we could use the room however we wanted as we had it until the next day. We forgot our pillows in the room as we were rushing to gather our things because we felt so uncomfortable. We went back
What a nice, quaint, little private owned hotel! I found this place because I had business dealings nearby. I was impressed with the owner, Gary, as he was the one who took my reservation as well as checked me in upon arrival. Great conversationalist. My room faced the river and was nice, clean, and comfortable, although it was a little small. But I was solo so it was ok for me. Even had a small balcony to step out on to watch the boats and jet-skis go by.
