Washington & Lee Motel

Great quiet place, rooms are nice and cozy, alot of TV channels to which i thought was pretty awesome, comes with a mini fridge with a freezer and a microwave. Locsted in a great area, was here for work and would definitely come back if im in the area

Positive: It was clean and quiet and had no funny smells. Negative: While the rest of the place looked great, the check-in nook was creepy.

I checked in to this motel yesterday (after never having stayed here before) and from the moment I went to check in until now, I can tell you that I am NOT AT ALL satisfied with anything to do with this place! But more specifically, the way that I'm being treated by who I'm guessing is the manager/owner. She is just plain RUDE & idk how she's made it this long running a motel!! Because she damn sure doesn't give a crap about customer satisfaction. Upon checking in, she told me & my 4 children that we would have to wait 10 minutes before going into the room because she had to make the beds & also made a comment about us not messing up her room. Five stars for a budget motel. Don't expect world class amenities. Some call the hotel dated, I call it retro. Green bath tub with green sinks? Yes! Salmon-colored painted wood paneling? Yes! It all works, it's fun, and clean, and inexpensive. I dig it.

Older style rooms and a little pricey but other than that all went well!!
