Walnut Inn Roland

Our stay was very pleasant! We only stayed one night, but we slept well. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and the staff was very friendly. If you get a chance to meet the resident cat, give her a pet for me!

Positive: The front desk staff were nice. Negative: We couldn’t even stay. The rooms were completely filled with large houseflies. I would estimate 50 in the first room and about 30 in the second room we tried. I am still waiting for my refund. We had to stay at a hotel across the street.

I will say it didn't disappoint...at all. The room was clean, looked recently updated, & came with fridge, microwave, coffee pot, 2 chairs, a desk, 2 beside tables and an extra end table. It also had a great TV. The only thing was some road noise but that comes with most hotels honestly. I would definitely recommend this place to folks you know that are traveling here or stopping by for a visit.

We’ve stopped at this place ever year on our yearly trip out west for the past 5 years. Nice quiet, comfortable spot to stop and rest. Great service with friendly staff!! Newly remodeled rooms are very nice and clean! Will continue to stay there anytime I’m out this way!

Was clean, nice hardwood floors, water pressure was awesome, our air conditioner didn't work but realized it too late (hubs was already sleeping)so made for a crappy night, checked out by 4 am. We did get an apology but cleaning person should have realized it which is why it got 3 stars, but had not been for that, would have been 4. Bed was nice, towels were crappy stained and rips, kcup coffee in room was good. No breakfast. Thought price was a little high. Monday night and with tax and processing fee was $102.
