We stayed at Walnut Bend Lodge April 2022, looking to get away for a weekend, but primarily for the exclusive access to Crane Creek. The creek did not disappoint, with excellent fishing the weekend we were there. The cabin itself is well done. Kevin and Jeanie have put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome. They even went out of their way to mail back to us some items we left by accident. We will be back.

Awesome place! Very nice accommodations in beautifully built lodge. The farm is gorgeous as well with 3/4 acre of creek front property. We caught so many wild McCloud Rainbows! Thanks for having us Kevin and Jeanie! We'll be back for sure. Your place is a fly fisherman's paradise!

My wife surprised me with a stay at Walnut Bend Lodge last weekend. We’d been looking at it for several months. We had a great time. What a great place to stay. Everything we needed was there. I caught my first McCloud rainbow trout in Crane Creek. Will schedule again soon. Thanks Kevin and Jeanie for taking care of us.

Walnut Bend Lodge is a true treasure with super hosts! We admired the amazing craftsmanship that was on display in the timber frame of the structure and the creative use of wood throughout the lodge. The repurposing of old farm equipment into a centerpiece light fixtures was a chin dropper - very clever! We so enjoyed this luxurious get-away that offered solitary trout fishing on Crane Creek. We also enjoyed walking along the trail beside the creek and the opportunity to be able to stargaze in the dark sky - I can’t remember the last time I saw that many stars! The Lodge has everything and more that one needs for a comfortable stay - very comfy beds, unscented linens, a well appointed kitchen, and even cell service and wifi!
